Thank you for this new enhancement! Great to separate messages from general notifications AND...an improved user interface to toggle/expand open each notification and easily delete it with the trash can icon. These things combined will save hours for folks who get a lot of notifications.

One thing I love about this site is that Admin is so receptive to user feedback and willing to make improvements to the site that enhance the user experience, even if it is a small change. It's clear that Admin really does want to make TCDB the best site for collectors.

I noticed the feature Wednesday afternoon. What a fantastic addition. I've always wanted to see what thread each Forum Reply was for without having to open every single one. The only thing I don't like about it is that if you check your notifications but don't actually read or expand anything, they disappear as NEW. They shouldn't do that unless you expand it or click it.

Do we really need to be notified every time someone likes a comment we made? Can there be an optout for type of notifications?
