Would like to know why my scans say not clear enough picture, and then the ones that look perfect they say i took a picture of them when in fact i did not. Then some say crooked. Crooked a little I understand.....I pulled my entire collection of Kyle Larson cards to help this site and even sponsored some pages...I am not going through half my collection again when my perfect scans say i took a picture...WTF!!! I really need some good input cause im gonna pack the rest in the closet if I don't..I took a full 13 hours uploading and scanning pics so far...Im only about a third of the way...How in the hell can it say I took a pic when I scanned all pics..And then if a little slight blur not much it denies it..But when perfect it denies saying a picture was taken...Screwed evry whitch way..Don't get me wrong it took several of mine and added but I never even looked back till now and seen all these others I scanned and They are not allowed im assuming? Please help..

I'm looking at a few of yours in the queue now. Did you scan them inside a penny sleeve or page? They do look blurry, and to me look either photographed or scanned in a sleeve of some sort. If you say they aren't photographed, I believe you, but my guess then would be inside of sleeve.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I was one of the ones who reviewed some of your scans. I did not mark any of them photographed. I cropped an approved some. some were very crooked, and the ones I marked "Low Quality" was because they were blurry from being scanned inside a screw down, or graded slab. Also, if you scan through plastic it can cause light reflections also, and light reflections on the scan will appear to be a photographed image.
Obviously if they are in a graded slab you cannot remove, but if you take the others out of the top loaded, screw down, or penny sleeve you will have better results. Also try using the side of the scanner bed to line up the cards to help avoid crooked issues.

Thanks for the info...Don't know about the child deal...I spent a lot of time doing this...But anyhow yes my cards are in one touch mags and toploades plus penny sleeves...No I will not be taking them out for pics for any site..they are in protection for a reason...I understand the blurry and crooked like I had said prior but the ones that came out very nice and say photographed is what I have an issue with...Thanks for answering so quick..

"The child deal" is my forum signature. It appears below all of my posts and is not directed at anyone or anything.

Jason, it's not a big deal to pull the cards out of the case for a minute to scan both sides and pop it back in there right afterwards. As long as you don't drop the card while placing in or removing from the scanner. I've scanned thousands of cards here and had no problems with damage to my cards. Once they are scanned once, I'll never have to remove them from the case again. I do hope you'll add more scans to the site, especially those rare ones you have!
EDIT to clarify: 24G42L is also named Jason and this reply was for him.

I have been very miticulos about the way I scan the Saints cards that I've added. I crop them myself and then do it again in the queue area. So far I have been able to reject the ones I don't like. My question is about scanning slabbed cards. The 2007 Topps Rookie Premiers Reggie Bush looked horrible , so I marked it as blurry. How does one scan a slabbed card? Wouldn't it be better to have a low quality scan on some of the rarer cards than to have no scan at all? Kudos to those who take our scans from our submission and place them on the page.

Adam It is frustrating...I'm glad some got on but Never would of thought a perfect scan would be rejected..Blurry rejected I get..And crooked slightly..We want the best site possible..But We accept the back of scans of base that paralells may differ and 1of1s...Done ran into that with a pic uploaded of the back of a 1of1 and its wrong...That is accepted but Not a perfect scan and is called photos...I swear I give up....Too much work involved for the good scans to be turned down..Just my opinion...I do want to thank the people that do let us smaller not dealers only add scans...

Deadhead, you need a scanner that can scan depth (CCD, I think). They are about 3x the price of a regular scanner.
Jason, if you see scans that are completely the wrong card, PLZ do an Inaccuracies Report on it and it will be removed. Explain why it is wrong and it'll get taken care of fast. A few members practically live in the IR portion of the site. I'm not one of them, but I am in there fixing stuff regularly.
Also, you should know that not all scans are "accepted" by Admin or other members. Many members can approve their own scans instantly (such as myself and the 1st two that replied in this thread). Sometimes a member will accidentally upload a scan to the wrong place and not notice it. I'm never in the Scan Queue, so I don't accept or reject any of those. But I do replace or report incorrect scans whenever I run across them.
