You are right this is not a price guide site. Beckett is a price guide site and only a few collector's believe them. So why do we believe prices here? All prices here should be from actual sales price. You see the prices even vary a large amount on some cards. There are a lot of other posting about pricing cards.
#1 a fair trade is when both parties agree upon a deal. No matter that the prices say. Yes there is a new feature requested about this. It may or may not happen. My understanding is you can turn off the prices so you do not see then now.
#2 Yes it would be very helpful but like Dan said. It may be too complex to add a feature like that. I have talked to several programmer. By what they has done with inputting data in to databases. This all depends on how the database is set up in the 1st place. Admin would have to set up a excel format to be used and only it. If any of the areas in that format are missing or incorrect it would causes issues. Kind like when members add thing here wrong. Other members will have to correct them.
Most of us have no problem with members adding prices. Yes for many it would be helpful.
We all do thing differently. Sorry Mark I would and have trade HOF cards for commons that I needed.
Yes there are a lot of other areas that members are working on (other then pricing) to make this site better. A lot of these members go unnoticed.
