I think Billy Kingsley is talking about "Commemorative Stamps". I collect the stamps of Lefty Grove and everything that USPS puts out of him & First Day of Issue Covers (FDC) made by others, but I don't think any of it should be listed on here. Here's why, Take a look at these:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-LEFTY-GROVE-BASEBALL-22kt-Gold-Golden-Replica-Cover-First-Day-FDC-FDI-STAMP/294099188622?hash=item4479ad7b8e:g:yGoAAMXQ9rVQ4WUT

And now for the Broder (Unlicensed), BUG, of stamps, are Vignette Stamps (Homemade)

If you start listing stamps, the inclusions will never end (and this is a Trading Card Database). I also collect schedules, programs & yearbooks, ACEO cards, bats, balls, autographs, jerseys, anything that is tied to my Player Collections. A line has to be drawn somewhere or this Site will "Blow Up" (and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is getting sick of the Mystery Card Forum being swamped with Broder (BUG) cards). I was indifferent to these cards at one point, but I now think they should ALL be removed from TCDB.

To be clear, I have a towel on my wall that is 100% licensed by MLB - doesn't man it can be listed here.
I have a CD-ROM that is 100% licensed by NHL and NHLPA - it cannot be listed here.
I could go on, but the point is that just because it's licensed by MLB and/or MLBPA does not mean it gets listed here.
(And yes, I did consider going down the path of whether these St. Vincent stamps should even be listed as individuals but decided to simply go the route of sticking to the topic at hand - the panels.)

I try and make a point to not get involved in baseball discussions because I don't collect them, but great-googly-moogly these are stamps. The Grenada Set are stamps.
I love that this site is crowd sourced, but this is a TRADING CARD DATABASE.
Baseball sets the standards on TCDB (for good and bad), if non-sport or gaming categories become this inclusive those categories will become swamped with non-card collectibles.
I fear the day is coming when TCDB implodes under the "weight" and lack of focus caused by non-trading card items.

My humble opinion on this matter has already been alluded to, but I will state it anyway. These are not cards, they didn't come in a pack of cards as any sort of insert, therefore they don't seem to qualify for inclusion on the Trading Card Database. Same for the Grenada stamps. They are cool collectibles, but not cards.

They are LITERALLY postage stamps printed and issued by a country for the purpose of being applied to envelopes and such to be mailed. They're already listed on stamp collecting databases. They DO NOT belong in our database.
We have a Non-sport category. Can I add postage stamp sets of birds? Flowers? Animals? Presidents?
-------------------------------
Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Thanks for all the feedback, albeit mostly all negative. I'd like to remind most everyone that this is a public collecting database and although everyone doesnt collect the same people, things, memorabilia, etc. this database does hold quite a bit of products that are NOT trading cards. For example....
1) Postcards
2) Buttons
3) Discs
4) Comics
5) Wrappers
6) Gaming Pieces
7) Player Publications
8) Pins
9) Stadium Giveaway Pieces
so as most everyone on here has gone against my question on asking how to add something, know that this already exists on this site and to there is a large majority of members that have these in their collections as you look further into it. Should we just delete this all together? NO! That wouldnt make any sense, it doesnt harm the site by having it on there and in my honest opinion it adds more value b/c again more and more collectors are coming here to document their collections and some collectors PC's include unique items like this. When questions like this arise, my biggest issue is there is so much negativity more than there is help and productivity. It took me a long time to document the 9 different pages of MLBers with their names and teams in order to add to the site as added value to collectors. The inconsistency amongst the messages makes there zero incentive for me to continue to try and add anything. I take full responsiblity that I am not on here daily and sometimes weekly but when I do get on here and I find things that I cant locate, I do my best to try and research it, locate it, add it, and then add it to the database.
Until next time, if there is one....

Big Tex, I have been where you are today.
I have been there, done that, hit a wall, tried to reason, failed again, walked away; came back, tried again, hit another wall, failed to see any sense, walked away. I still don't understand the whys other than some object very strongly when it is not their thing. Opinions are said to be wrong in very rude and harmful insults. My contributions to the site dwindled drastically in the last couple of years to almost nothing. I let those who know best take care of things; I rather not get in their way. I use the site to track my collection, trade with many other members but I don't add things much anymore. Why do it just to be told "No!"

I don't think anyone has been rude. It all comes back to a line has to be drawn somewhere. There are some rogue items listed on this site that don't belong here. Heck, I have been guilty of adding a set that is not a trading card. I have even sent in an IR to have it removed once I understood the rules of summiting a set on this site. As a PC I have tons of items that just do not qualify to be listed on this site.
The best thing you can do Big Tex is send a message to Admin. If Admin approves of these stamps to be listed on the site, any thing anyone has to say against them being here means nothing. If Admin says they don't qualify to be listed then the boss has spoken. After all, it is there sandbox that we are all playing in.
