So unfortunately I've run into a trade that has a problem. Member with zero feedback, won't answer messages, etc
In the status dropdown, I marked "Problem"....but I'm curious, what happens next?

First question is did you already send your side of the transaction? If not just don't and it will eventually disappear from your transactions. If you did all you can do is wait and leave feedback. A good rule of thumb when trading with people with no feedback is to have them send first.

Note that marking problem only reverses the cards involved in the transaction. We all assume the risk of trading here so nobody is going to step in and do anything because you marked a trade as problem. As said above, leave proper feedback.

I did not send my side, I had the cards pulled but couldn't even get responses to get all the info of where to send. It wasn't a big trade or expensive cards so that's cool.
So basically just after an amount of time the transaction disappears, then the cards will revert back to inventory like nothing happened? I didn't know if someone intervened to do that or it just happened automatically.
Thanks all as I continue to learn more aspects of the site

When you say you didn't get all the info of where to send, do you mean their address? If so, that should have popped up when the trade was accepted and should be listed directly below the list of cards. Maybe I am misunderstanding the situation, but was the trade actually accepted?

Yes the trade was accepted. Their mailing info was blank. So I messaged to ask for it. Multiple times. Responses were lacking

I didn't think trades could even be started if the other member doesn't have their address in their Profile. It certainly can't be accepted without an address. Sounds like this person removed their address after the trade was accepted. Mark the trade as "Unfinished" instead of "Problem". If you don't get a reply from them any time soon, the trade will disappear 90 days after you mark in Unfinished as long as nobody changes the status of the trade before then.

I have set up trades with several new members recently who did not have their address listed.

Have you checked their profile for when they last logged in? I know there are some members here who only log in once a week or even every other week.
At least you didn't send the cards so it's no loss other than your time.

I, too, have made trades where the partner didn't have an address listed initially. It was easily corrected by them adding it to their profile.
