Does anyone else feel like time slows down when you're waiting for a card to arrive? I curse the mailman when he drives by without stopping.

Mostly only when it's a special card for some reason or a whole bunch of cards. Definitely agree when I'm waiting for hobby boxes though!

The great thing about our mail service is that he doesn't come until late in the afternoon, thus my workday is unaffected. But seeing only circulars and bills delivered is a downer. Yesterday was wonderful with three packages delivered. Every card was special.

The waiting is the hardest part. Wow, that's so profound, I should write a song about that.
Oh, nevermind.

Everyday when I have an order coming, I get home from work, look for boxes, and when I see none, I give a sigh of disappointment!

The worst feeling is when the tracking says delivered, but it's not in your mailbox.

or when you're home but they leave a slip saying you weren't so you have to wait until the next day to pick it up at the PO

I just got a redemption back last week almost 6 months old, but it was worth the wait.
