While I like and understand the functionality of requesting multiples of the same card within a transaction, it can be easily overlooked by those that are not familiar with the process and again even with those that are familiar with the process. In addition, some members have told me that they just don't understand it, or they cannot tell which cards have multiples requested after I have advised them that multiples were requested within the transaction message area. So, I am putting this here hoping this is beneficial to some of you...
When composing a trade proposal, there are two different ways to add multiples of the same card to the trade proposal if multiples of one card are available. 1. Within the proposal, they can go to “edit items” and then click on the “edit quantities” option and adjust the quantities on that screen. 2. Members can also click on the red box next to each card in the trade proposal that displays more than one card available and manually adjust the quantity. Once either method is completed, the number in the "blue box" next to each card in the proposal will reflect the number of "duplicate" cards requested within the proposal. The number in the “red box” will then adjust to reflect the number of cards that remain in the other members FST list if any cards remain available...if none remain available the red box will display the number 0.
Again, I like the process, but I do have concerns based on prior transactions and feedback from others that its way to easy to overlook the number in the blue box when multiples are requested. With that said, someone is going to ask this question..."did you contact Admin or make a suggestion." Yes, I did email admin about this feature a couple of days ago and suggested a possible solution. My suggestion would be to have the color of the blue box change to a different color if the number in the blue box was greater than "1". I'm not sure what the limitations of this website are, but anything, even a message at the top of the proposal advising that multiples of the same card have been requested would be beneficial as well.
This isn't about asking admin for change, its more about helping other members understand how this process works.
