Sometimes it takes me a few weeks or more to put together an order with a seller as I try to build up enough to make shipping worth it. I expect to lose a card or two as other buyers might swoop, and that's obviously on me. What drives me nuts is when you lose everything. I am pretty sure this is due to the seller going on vacation mode. It clears out your cart. It doesn't put it on hold or give you the option. It's happened to me a few times. The seller might eventually comeback, but by then I won't remember what I put in my cart.

It has happened to me. I have contacted the owner and he has stated that it should not be happening but has happened before. At that time he said it was fixed.

It has happened to me before too, but usually when I move from computer to computer. If I go back to the computer that I had used to add everything to my cart, the stuff seems to be there. But if I go to another computer, my cart is empty. Maybe that helps?

It happened to me yesterday, so not fixed. I keep track on a spreadsheet though, so I can add them back later.

Has happened to me many times over. Sucks.
Even more sucky, losing money when a seller screws up. Got a Box shipment and the seller sent the wrong cards. Shipped back with tracking to get the refund. Cost of order $5.50, refunded $5.50, cost to ship the cards back with tracking (which is 4.40!!!) was 5.50 (funnily enough). So I lost nearly $6 because a seller sent the wrong cards to me. Love it.

While we are at it, let's add getting cards that are nowhere near mint. If fact they are so poor of condition, I would not even use them as place-keepers. This also include Pinnacle Mint coins that are corroded.

Who are we talking about? I think that I have a name in mind. PM if you don't want to name him here.
By the way, what bothers me with Sportlots (and Ebay) are some sellers are taking forever to send their cards directly to buyers or to the box. Often, they won't charge you a better shipping rate to ship to the box or just a few cents down, but it delays the complete second shipping for days or weeks after the sellers doing things right have their packages already received in Green Bay.

"He" is the owner of Sportlots by what I have been told per a message from Sportlots.. The username is Sportlots.
The second part is why you need to watch what buyer you are ordering from and if it is cheaper to just have them sent to you directly or to the box. Yes, it is not always cheaper to use the box shipments. Some sellers only ship to the box every 2 weeks or so. It is cheaper for them at way.
The last time I purchased cards from Sportlots Most of the cards went to the box but several orders I had them sent directly to me. Keep in mind Sportlots get your cards and puts them in a box and weights them and charges you that amount of postage. So if it cost the same to ship directly. Why add the extra weight to the box shipment?
PM me the name you were thinking it was.

My biggest peeve about SL (not the only one) is that I can't trust anything that isn't a base card with no variation. I've ordered several cards that were listed as a parallel, variation, etc and it was just flat wrong.

Turning off trading because my collection is in complete disarray after moving and I don't know when I can get it organized.
