There are a couple sets that bring me an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. Those would be 1995-96 Fleer basketball and even more so 1995-96 Stadium Club basketball. Even just looking at the logo of the TSC and the foil on the cards, I somehow can almost smell that time in my life if that makes any sense. It’s a very uncanny feeling.
Anyone have any sets that make them feel the same way?

84 Topps baseball. There was a toy store that used to sell full 132 card sheets of this set. My mom would buy me one every so often. I'd sit in front of the cabinet TV and watch my BoSox on Channel 38. Day game, always a day game on the weekend. I'd spend the game cutting these sheets up, nowhere near perfect :), and sorting through everything.
Ah, the innocence of youth. Every time I see this set I remember those days.

Mine are the 1987-88 and 1988-89 hockey sets. Looking at these sets I automatically go back to opening up packs with my 2 brothers and trying to trade for our favorite players.

1993 Upper Deck baseball will always have a special place in my heart. It was my first hobby box I received as a 7 year old and was the first with a ton of inserts that I could collect. Special shout out to the late 90s Collector's choice basketball as I was a little bit older and it was still affordable for a kid on a meager allowance.

'84 Topps baseball. It was the first time I could buy cards on my own doing my paper route. I just loved ripping those packs to find a Don Mattingly or a Darryl Strawberry card. I think they were like 50 cents a pack. Miss those days.

1991 FLEER BASEBALL: Hated them as a kid, like everyone still does, because they were so ugly. I got so many boxes (along with 1991 Topps) from family as gifts and despised the yellow borders. I used to walk to my stepdad's place of employment after school and there was a Family Dollar that only had FLEER products, so I had no choice but to buy them if I wanted cards to open. I almost resented how bad they were at that time with the only bright spot being ProVisions. As an adult, I've grown to love and embrace the yellow borders for the memories that they bring back. It's to the point that I seek them out and have multiple sets currently in my collection along with an uncut sheet of ProVisions displayed at home. When I started sharing #CardArt on Twitter, I initially only colored on 1991 FLEER baseball cards and became known as the #PROJECT1991HQ guy who defends these beauties every chance I get. I dream of the day that they are brought back as a retro design in a modern product and have made several of my own custom versions with yellow borders as well as color matching the borders.

86 Topps for me. Lots of wiffle ball games and evil knevil bicycle/motorcycle jumps. How I didn't break bones is a miracle.

1991 Stadium Club baseball. Every time I get some in a trade, I can absolutely see myself standing at the LCS counter amazed at the photos I'm pulling out of the packs.
And I *still* love looking at the RC photos on the back.

1989 Donruss, probably the first packs I ever opened growing up. Also 1987 Topps, a store always had these in my neighborhood. I used to think it was so cool buying the 1987 as a kid because they were older.
