Hi,
What's your weirdest or peculiar set or player that you collect that no one really knows or cares about?

I have a collection of alcoholic and temperance movement books and magazines. I started collecting this when my recovery journey began. Probably in the 200-300 items range. Pictures, tokens, postcards, and magazines that mention alcoholism. That also includes a 1970's Iron Man comic book, when he became an alcoholic. I am almost clean and sober 14 yesrs.

I have at least a dozen shot glasses from my travels but I'm not really a drinker.
@deadhead congrats!

Congrats! One day at a time.
I have a small collection of cards from guys named Chris with cartoons on the back that reference them by name. For example, the back of Chris Chambliss' 1973 Topps card, where it says "Chris collects phonograph records." https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/73/cid/17211/1973-Topps-11-Chris-Chambliss

I collect cards featured in the MLB The Show video game franchise, specifically those seen in Diamond Dynasty. They've had real Topps/Bowman cards in the game since 2015. I have an Excel sheet of over 2,200 cards.

I've managed to pick up so many odd ball cards over the years I don't even know where to begin.
I met Al Roker and he has his own set of weatherman cards with cartoon images of him on them, which I got a set. Sadly, I wasn't able to get him to sign any of them.
In a trade here I picked up a card of a turkey bowler (which I found hysterical since turkey bowlers are a big part in several Christopher Moore books, which I love)
Another book related card I stumbled on is a card of a book cover from Robert Heinlein which of all places was in a pack of Betty Page cards I picked up in an antique shop as a box of different packs of cards. How it ended up in that pack I'll never understand.
The cards I perhaps laugh the most about are two jockey cards I got as part of a larger collection I purchased.
I wouldn't say I intentionally collected any of them with few exceptions. In most cases I either picked them up or traded for them because I found them comical in one way or another or I picked them up as a part of a much larger lot.

Not sure if it counts as truly an "odd" collection, but I collect mascot cards, primarily focused on baseball minor league sets. That probably started when I found cards of the "Crazy Hot Dog Vendor" from the Reading Fightin' Phils.
I collect Scott Bankhead for no other reason than he acknowledged my existence while I heckled him during a Rangers-Mariners game.
I collect Doyle Alexander because my sister dated his son for a while when they were both in high school.
-------------------------------
Turning off trading because my collection is in complete disarray after moving and I don't know when I can get it organized.

I do like the odd sized cards as well as oddball stuff. The jumbo cards from the 80’s, Sportscasters, and food vendor cards. When it comes to non sports, I do collect tobacco and advertising cards.
As for players, the only one I would say is odd, maybe Wally Joyner, have a small collection of him. watched him play when I was younger while getting into baseball.
