Thanks RonEaston. I'm done for tonight. I found a lot of oddball items entered tonight on the Kirby Puckett album. I should be back to the big bulk stuff by next week.

Honestly, the cards saved my life 17 years ago. I replaced a bad habit with a good (and profitable) habit that still to this day has kept me sober.

The sorting and pricing has taken it's toll on me but as you know, I’m a set builder so the more complete ones the better. I haven’t really done any big trades in a while to Canada, but always down for it with you !

I am apparently a super collector of a couple of Kirby Puckett unlicensed products now.

I have 44 of these. The rest of the membership has 27.

It always strikes me funny when I buy collections and see mass quantities of a particular card.

I am also amused at how many hard card protectors I gained on this purchase. Many of them holding a card valued on here at 18 cents.

I think many player collectors collected multiples of the same card at one time. I think there are still many who do. I know I did but stopped that mostly when I started on TCDb and could now trade for cards I did not have. You don't want to really know how many 1991 Upper Deck John Olerud's I had and yet still kept buying (though always as a low priority).

I still do that with some cards and I really don't know why. They are usually something I will add to a trade.

3 team bags of Puckett cards left and then I can get back to sorting and entering some good old junk. Today I was more focused on yard work so not much card time.

Take your time Swag, lol. I literally bought a truckload (nissan titan) of cards for $300. It has took me about 3 years to go thru it. Every once and while, I wouldn't touch it for a week due to daughters travel ball schedule or HS schedule. Trust me when I say the break is needed..lol

Yes, It's pretty cool when you come across a hoard of a certain card when going through bulk lots.  And yes, as mentioned by another comment in this thread, player collectors (as well as speculators) will somtimes hoard a particular card.   I've come across several, my top ones (that obviously didn't pan out)....
