Twins fan in Central Minnesota. I have followed the Twins since they came to Minnesota. I remember going to games at Met Stadium. I am building my one and only set ever. I'm building a 2019 Topps Heritage set. It is designed after the 1970 Topps set which were the first packs of cards I ever bought at the local Ben Franklin store. I don't think one could ever have too many Twins cards. Have fun with the sort. Who knows what you may find?

Sign me up as a sorting/organising nerd.

I've never had a collection of that size to go through so do wonder if I would get burnt out — hopefully one day I can find out!

I fit this thread, just finished going through a purchase of $35 of baseball cards, 8 albums on 9 pocket sleeves and a big flat box of team cards wrapped in rubber bands. Do not remember the value number but it was right at 9000 cards. Still working on merging them into my keeps sets so I can get some on the FS/Trade list. I will be following.

Thanks to those that have chimed in. This is what I love most about this site. There are a lot of others like myself who find enjoyment/relaxation from thumbing through and organizing cards. The number of responses has put a little pressure on me to keep up with sorting through things and updating and commenting as I go.

I hope to finish that box of 1986 Donruss tonight. I do think Donruss outdid Topps and Fleer in design in 1986. Assuming this is a box where a few major stars were pulled and everything else packed away I can say the collation isn't the best. I already have triplicates of some cards.

Did any of you check out the 2005 SP Authentic - UD Promos in the football section? I think I'm rich . Based on the amount on this site I have some super rate stuff! They may be an early example of way too much product in existence. I see many of those cards are missing images. After this project I may need to break down and learn how to scan and submit images.

Confession time. This isn't the first time I have bought a big glut of cards from this local guy. It's probably about the 5th time. Here is the real confession part, I still have some boxes from prior purchases that I have never even opened up since I bought them. Hopefully sharing as I go here keeps me motivated to keep on this last purchase.

I'm debating on what to dig into next. The other box looks to be some 1990 Donruss set or partial set. I'm color blind but I think the cards are blue. I could also dig into another box of disorganized misc. stuff or grab one of the albums to see what is there. I also saw a big stack of early 90's Topps gold parallel cards. It looks like there is a 93 Upper Deck possible set that it one big brick. What a shame. I'm not sure if that is a toss or if I should try to salvage something. Oh, and all those Twins team sets. It's always fun to see what someone treated as valuable 30 years ago. I think I saw a 1990 Donruss Kevin Tapani that is autographed in a screw down holder.

The blue 1990 Donruss cards would be Best of the AL/NL cards. 144 cards in each league. Should be a fun sort.

As for the autographed Tapani, there might be a member here interested in that one! He happens to like his Tapani collection.

I have been reading along following as well. I think half the fun with buying cards like that is the sorting. Once your done, I think there will be quite a few we can trade for. 

Super fun project. Wish more people were interested in these kinds of cards. Hate seeing cards go to waste but I understand time constraints. Hope that it continues to be fun for you! And if you come across blue Donruss Orioles cards, I’d be interested in picking them up in a trade…

Fantastic thread. Im a sorting nerd also, lol. I usually go to shows, late in the day and find a box someone doesn't wanna carry out. Offer up some $, sort, and trade here. It really has brought fun back into the hobby for me. (Not so much for the wife, lol) 

I managed to finish entering in everything from the 1986 Donruss box tonight while having on the 1983 all-star game in the background.
