From the I never thought it would happen department.
I initiated a trade back in August 2020 with a fellow member who quickly accepted the offer. My side was mailed out promptly. His was not. USPS tracking confirmed that my cards delivered to him. After a little back and forth about some delays in mailing the trade from his side, he disappeared. I would see him log in once in a while but he would not reply to my messages. In December of 2020 I gave up and marked the trade as unfinished. Long forgotten, I received a message last week telling me that he was sending out the cards he owed me. They arrived in todays mail.
It was nice to see a trade completed even after all this time. Whatever the reason for this one slipping through the cracks, at least our fellow member came through.

Yeah I had two strokes and a heart attack. I was out of commission for awhile. The night I sent you the message I was looking through a few boxes that was moved while I was recovering and found 3 trades that was packed up but wasn't mailed before my first stroke. I was actually sorting cards at my desk when I had my first stroke. I was told they found me with trading cards all on top of me. Everything was cleaned up after I was rushed to the hospital and put in the box I found your cards in. Two more trades was sent out along with yours. I have 2 more unfinished trades that I cannot account for. I've contacted those traders and explained I think they were lost in the mail because I no longer have the cards. But everything around that time is fuzzy in the memory department. I'm glad you got your cards. Im very sorry it took so long. Hopefully we can trade once more

I love the understatement in your first sentence — out of commission indeed!
All the best with your health and big kudos for coming through on the outstanding trades.

WOW man! Health before cards always. I didn't mention you by name because I didn't know the specific circumstances. I'm glad you are back up and running. Hopefully the worst of it all is behind you!
Thanks for coming through after all the adversity.

I am glad this member is feeling better, but I don't understand why the member did not post a message on their profile or have a family member post in their behalf.

I'm going to load up the wagon with snacks and find that Lenny Williams card one day!

First of all my communication skills was not doing so well. Second of all I had no idea I didn't mail out three trades. Something about memory and strokes, funny thing. Third of all I could not use my phone to log into TCDB. Something about muscle control and strokes, another funny thing. Fourth, trading cards was not my top priority. The log ins he spoke of was from my step-son trying to add some cards to my account for me back in February of last year. Sad but another funny story. So that's my explanation why health trumps trading cards. Hope you understand.
