Wonder if collectors care more about condition of checklist over marked / unmarked?
Which would you prefer:
A "Near Mint" checklist that has some marks
Or
A "Good" checklist with No marks?
Any comments welcome, thanks for your input

I would prefer a good checklist with no marks but have some that friends have given me with marks. I like to make my own checkmarks.

I would prefer unmarked over better condition, but even then I'm not really that picky, especially for older CL's.

I always prefer unmarked to marked. (As soon as there is a mark on the checklist, it automatically gets downgraded to no better than a Fr when I'm coding things in my collection.)

If it's a tough-to-find checklist (or one with a variation), having some marks is OK if it is centered and free of creases or paper loss.

I must admit that back in 1973 as a kid, I marked many of these checklists. Now for set building I wont even look at one that has been used.

For my own personal sets, I would prefer marked checklists with sharp corners to unmarked but beat up cards.

Not much new to add. Writing on the card is virtually always a no for me. But I very neatly marked many a checklist in my day. I think I still have a few from 1977 and '78, I'm sad to say.

Good with no marks is a thousand times more desirable to me than near mint with a few marks.
