Hi, I'm interested in collecting players cards who've played in the Pecos League. There aren't many (only three have major league cards). These players (Yermin Mercedes, Jon Edwards, and Nick Anderson) among only a few others primarily have cards that are Choice, Grandstand, etc. minor league cards. When I look for them on here there are only a few people with them in their collections. Should I reach out to see if they will trade. If they won't (which I'm guessing they won't), is my only other route to getting them eBay? If so, that kind of takes the fun out of it for me. Open to advice. Thanks!

Of course there's always eBay.
Single cards of obscure minor league players are sometimes hard to find. Try beckett.com as I've had some luck there. If you're willing to overpay a little for more than you need, minor league cards are most commonly sold in team sets. You'll get your guy, but will have all the others too. There are 2 or 3 sites that specialize in minor league team sets. My favorite, whom I buy from every year, is stbsports.com. Google minor league team sets to find more sellers.

If I have any of the cards you are looking for, let me know as I don't mind trading them if they are baseball.

Thanks so much for this information! I know it's going to be a long shot to find quite a few, but this gives me some direction to go.

While his site says he is not currently taking orders, check with Dave Weber at http://minorleaguesingles.com/. He is the king of selling minor league singles.

You also might try Sportlots.com - I just did a basic check there for 2010 Grandstand, and there are some for sale!

STB Sports (https://www.stbsports.com/) is another place to look for minor league cards/team sets.

I need to check out STB Sports. That'll help fill some gaps in my MiLB collection when the time comes.
I see they reference TCDB right on the front page. Do they have some connection with us? I've never heard of STB before this forum post, which is a bit surprising - it seems like a great site to pick up some sets.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.
