I have almost exclusively done trades on this site, but lately I have considered offering to purchase. THis brings me to the question... what is the best way to exchange money for card sales here? Would it be PayPal? if so, who gets charged fees, and does anyone know what the fees would work out to be? Thanks! - Matt

The seller gets charged the fees. And Paypals cut is 3% + 30 cents.

You can send payment via PayPal from/to checking accounts using the "Friends and Family" option to avoid fees. This option, however, will not included the "buyer protection" that PayPal offers for a buyer of goods and services. I used Venmo today and it didn't include fees when sending payment from/to bank accounts.

I personally use PayPal friends and family on this site when sending money for cards.

I've used PayPal; Family & Friends has no fees. I've used Zelle (no fees); both member's banks have to have the Zelle service. And of course good old cash.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I have tried to buy but nobody wanted to sell. Crazy! When i sell it's always paypal. if they trust me it's friends and family. I would encourage paypal for security reasons. I didnt think venmo had seller, or any protection but if it does be sure to let me know!
of course i wish i had protection of some sort when my package didnt arrive but the post office says it did from a member with all good feedback. some members are straight up deceitful!

Thank you for all the replies so far! A couple of things:
- I forgot to mention that I am in Canada and would be sending payment to the USA.. I don't know if that makes a difference?
- Does nobody have to pay fees for PAyPal Friends and Family? It seems odd that they would offer a free service! Regular PayPal with fees of 3% + 30 cents does not seem like much though.
