Many ask where they might find cards.  This particular Auction company is spreading (I believe it originated in northern NY or in Kingston ON).  For example, here is an auction in Atlanta GA https://maxsold.maxsold.com/auction/33499/bidgallery/page_Mg.  Not all auctions have sports cards but some do.  This particular one has the 1991 Topps set for sale.

I often see some of these in Rochester NY and have many in my area from Kingston to Oshawa. I have picked up several lots of cards including the Mantle Dormand Postcard and the prize card that was mailed out to hawkking today. Yes, like all auctions, prices sometimes get ridiculous but you would be surprised at how often I get things well below current prices. One day, I might even let hawkking know what the prize cost me.

You can search for auctions within so many miles of your hometown.  You may luck in.

Had a look around my area in BC, too bad I couldn't find a way to search specifically for sports cards. I chanced across some Pokemon, but I think I'd have to look at each page individually to find what might interest me

There is a spot to type in sports cards. I've tried it it works for the most part. At the top beside register it says search.

Yes, depending on how the seller lists his items, the search may or may not come up with all the card lots.  I usually look through the whole auction as there are usually only 2-3 pages of items.

This auction wasn't to far from me. About 2 to 3 hours south. After looking at the listing. I like how they sold the box fans. Listed as a lot of dirty box fans. Sold dust and all. I guess the price would have doubled if they were clean. Im definitely gonna check this site in mind for the future
