Final thoughts: I guess for $190 it wasn't a terrible deal. It did give me a ton of cards I don't have. The major downside is that it really sucked the joy out of the hobby, considering how long and tedious it was (boxes were not organized at all). I definitely need to take a small break from it.

Honestly, that's what makes it fun for me.  Tedious.  Currently diving into a couple thousand count boxes of baseball cards to sort and put away myself.  I'm finding BCW's sorting tray is helping make it less tedious, but it's still a bit to go through.

To me it would be fun sorting them like that, but I can understand taking a break from it after doing so.  For shy of 200 bucks though I think you did good.  I do have to ask though, what are the Monopoly and Trioploy eras?  I've never heard that before.

For what you paid I think its great deal. Yes its tedious but The work pays off in the end.

Monopoly era was when it was just Topps (I forget the years). Triopoly was Donruss, Topps, Fleer.

This seems like it would be a lot of fun to me. Heck, I wouldn't have any problem whatsoever doing this for another person either.
