I am planning a trip to Tennesse, near Memorial Day and I am looking for a few card shop recommendations.

I remember reading a blog post a some point about there being a fairly interesting card shop that had a sort of junk store/treasure hunt vibe.

Also, does CardsOne still operate out of TN?

Any help would be appreciated.

Where in Tennessee?  State's over 500 miles from east to west, so a visit to Memphis or Knoxville may be a bit too far to hit up a card shop in Nashville.

Cards-R-Fun is my local shop and could probably be classified as "junk store".  Here is someone's blog post with some pictures of the store from almost 12 years ago.  Store pretty much looks the same today, if not a lot more cluttered.

I loved Tennessee!  The Evil Dead cabin is in Morristown.  Touring the Jack Daniels plant is also a bucket list item. 

I remember going to a store dedicated to Negro League baseball but I can't find any trace of it on the internet and don't recall where it was located.  I did find this list of shops down there though:

Boy would I love to get to this shop.  These are the ones I like visiting the most where there is a little (or a lot) of everything from vintage to oddball to new.  I could probably drop a couple of hundred $ in his store and not get very deep in what he has that I need. Of course, vintage would be priority.

Original poster here.   We are planing to go up the Mississippi from New Orleans to Memphis and then across the state of TN to the Blue Ridge Parkway and then home to MD.

The article on the Cards R Fun place was the one I remembered.  It is exactly what I am looking for, part card shop and part treasure hunt.

Any other recommendations would be welcomed.
