What are your thoughts on people rushing to ebay to list autographs after someone has passed?

I guess it's to be expected, but it does seem a little sacrilegious.

There is such a thing as too soon but I will say this. How much money has Topps been making off of Hank and will continue to make over the years?

sad day for Aaron fans like me. I never seen him play but what I have seen is an all around classy guy. He will be missed by his fans, his teammates, the Braves and future Braves. Including all fans of the game
EBay once had a policy is if someone famous (usually sports) they will not allow it to be listed and sold. Now if there is an item on before he passed and has a bid they will let that auction alone
it bad to profit on someone's death like this but I understand funeral homes Only difference is the family usually has insurance and the deceased usually has a will and no one lives forever (well except only one and I am not him)

there's few times a retired players cards go up in value: HoF induction, and death. Usually when someone famous dies, there's a renewed interest in their career, same goes for musicians. Is it wrong for people to want to go buy when they previously wouldn't?

Unfortunately, it seems like the norm. Hank Aaron is an American icon. Amazing man.

Sad to see him go. Lost so many over the past couple of years.
As to those selling, and bidding up his cards, that's each persons own guilt or not to feel. I was wondering if I looked up the ten oldest living hall of famers, and then started bidding and buying their autographed cards, how that might be viewed by others?
