I recently acquired a bunch of Non-sport card in a collection and while going thru was wondering why some sets we put together and some we don't. Here is an example 1992-93 Collect-A-Card Harley Davidson

Where as 1992 Lime Rock MAD Magazine Series 1& 1992 Lime Rock MAD Magazine Series 2

I realize that the Harley cards are series 1 is 1-100, Series 2 is 101-200 and 3 is 201-300. And the Mad cards are actually mixed together" easier if you look at checklist. its confusing. Lol

I was just wondering why these were done this way or if it just wasn't noticed when they were put in. Jeff

It means whoever originally listed the Mad set didn't bother to do any research beforehand. it should be 1 checklist, just like every other set issued in two series.

I noticed that Series 2 was added before Series 1.  Both were added a long time ago, back when maybe Admin would have decided how to do it.  Series 2 precedes the change log, and the guy who added the scans hasnt logged on in 5 years.

I noticed that Mad series two has numbers missing. OH weird apparently the series 2 checklist is "complete"

Looking at series 1 it also skips numbers. How very odd. Apparently each set is 55 cards yet they are numbered up to 300. Very odd. The two series should probably be combined with a note (note 2?) that the card numbers skip and there were released as 2 series. 

The numbers are the issue number of the magazine, not a card number.
