Hopefully any Earnhardt fan who is considering this card catches the red flag anyway, given that that the 'autographed' 2003 card came out two years after Earnhardt passed away. It's weird.

Sadly Beckett graded the reprinted autograph and in a case where a collector does not realize the card is a reprint can be suckered in to buying it. Beckett screwed up, Probstein scrrewed up and eBay is fine with it. As far as they are concerned, Beckett says the auto is real so eBay is good with it.

Somebody may have addressed this already, but I'm guessing Dale Sr. didn't sign this actual card, considering he died in February 2001, and this is listed as a 2003 card. Is the card from another year? I don't collect NASCAR cards, but I do know when Dale Sr. died.

That's definitely reportable - that's a misleading subject and ebay doesn't like those.

Card sold for 168 bucks. Seller did not respond to my message about the card not being an actual autograph

Wow... that listing is out and out criminal. Hopefully any fool spending that amount of money has the wherewithal to actually read the description. A pity about that NASCAR card, too...
