I've been to M&L Sports Cards in Niagara Falls a couple times. It's a small shop, but its worth a visit. The guy who owns it also runs a show out of St. Catharines a few times a year and seems to have a lot of product.

Just a little north of Toronto, in Richmond Hill, is the closest shop to me, Collector's Dreams. I find it kind of expensive, and heavy on hockey, but most shops on this side of the border tend to be. http://Www.collectorsdreams.ca

You were in my back yard! I am across the Bay in Prince Edward County, less than 15 minutes from Belleville. The only real deals around here are in a couple of flea markets. There is one shop in a mostly empty mall but it doesn't have a lot.

Is the flea market in Crosby ever worth going to? When we're allowed to visit our family (who also wasn't allowed to go to the property they own, don't get me started on that one), we pass right by it (in and out) and we're not that far from it where their place is.

Not familiar with Crosby. Will have to look it up. There is one in Perth. Not a lot there but sometimes might luck in. Also one in Smith Falls but has been a long time since I went there

It's a bit far from Ottawa, but there are a few card stores in Oshawa, Ontario. One is called A Wad of Cards. I've only been there once a couple years ago, and my impression was that it was a bit disorganized with piles and boxes of cards everywhere. From what I remember it was mostly hockey with a bit of baseball, football, and non-sport. I was able to find stacks of various cards at a pretty affordable price that he cut me a deal on. The cluttered nature of the store is probably the main reason I haven't been back since I'm more of a browser than a guy who knows exactly what he wants.
There's one in the north end of Oshawa called Frozen Heroes Sportscards & Memorabilia. Mostly hockey, but a decent amount of football and baseball as well. Well organized and friendly staff whenever I go there. The owner is very active on his Facebook page, so he can easily be reached to find out more about the store (his hours are somewhat random as his time allows).
There's a really nice seller at the Courtice Flea Market that has great prices not only on cards, but other collectibles like records and figurines. I can't remember his name, but he's in the main building and wears glasses and a baseball cap and is (guessing) in his forties (that could probably describe most collectors ). From what I hear, the Pickering Flea Market has many sellers, but can run a bit pricy. I haven't been to that one since I was a kid based on hearing this from many people, but I may give it another shot. There was a great seller who used to be at the This and That flea market in Whitby, but the market closed and I never got his contact info. I used to get great prices from him on basketball cards because nobody but my brother and I were interested at the time. This was around 10 years ago when the Raptors were horrible.
