I'm new at TCDB and really like it so far. Last year I started a project of collecting all of the Yankees championships lineups from the clinching game of the World Series (working from most recent), So far I have the 2009, 2000, 1999, 1998 and 1996. Next up will be 1978.

Also, I have cards (some are reprints) of all Yankees retired numbers. Completed it recently with an original Elston Howard.

I am also working on getting a card for each member of the Hall of Fame (not just Yankees)

Finally, I am collecting baseball cards from every decade and team I can get. Ended up with a lot of duplicates in the 88-92 years. Glad to be aboard the site.

You'll find lots of useful information here, and lots of very helpful people. Explore the site and ask questions. At some point, if you can, try to contribute by scanning or adding checklists. This is a fantastic site that helped reinvigorate my collecting. 

As for the Yankees, those sound like the beginnings of a nice list. Consider making one. Me, I've been trying desperately to make it so the Yankees are NOT the team I have the most of. As a set collector, it just happens. But my Cubs are closing the gap...

Thanks- when I first started following baseball around 1970 I was an A's fan. Just loved the varous uniform colors and variety of characters on the team. By the end of 1975 they had traded away or lost to free agency all of my guys. I picked up the Yankees in '76 and have been with them since.

I've seen something about checklists. Do I add checklists of cards that I own or cards that I would like to trade/buy?

Welcome to the site. If you notice a set that is missing a checklist (or the entire set is missing), as a member here, you can upload the missing checklist. In fact, you're encouraged (and kinda expected) to do so to help out the hobby community. The checklists for most of the cards you have are already here. It's going to be some of the more obscure releases that are missing.
