Saw some card listings on Mercari and was curious if anybody has used it. If so, what was your experience like? Better/worse than eBay?

I have. In my opinion, it isn't better than eBay, but I would recommend it. 

I have bought numerous auctions on Mercari. I like it, but I still use eBay more often. 

I never heard their site name before. Not a good sign. I just visited it and I noticed that you need to ship through their platform and it won't let ship out of the States and they even seem to limit what you can ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Ebay is on a continual downward spiral, but you still have control on how and where you ship.

I've never heard of Mercari. Mercury, on the other hand...

Thanks for the replies. Their shipping approach sounds a little controlling, I'll research that more.

I see them run TV ads quite a bit, more geared at selling random household stuff- seems like they try to position themselves as a safer option to local Craigslist sales.

And Billy, please tell me that car is yours :)
