So next month, we began the basement project. Ive been on ticktock/interwebs looking at storage/shelving ideas. First, I have to build some storage shelves for the wife and her stuff and she is allowing me to build, in her words, "the card shop" on one side of the basement. Im also interested in your guys storage/shelving ideas.

I have started making my own storage boxes. My work has been buying paper in a 5 reams of paper size and I use those boxes. I cut them off at 4 inches and use the top portion to make 4 dividers. The boxes stack nice, are sturdy, and the weight of a full box is very tolerable for lifting and moving around.

I guess the ideal storage space would be a walk in, climate control gun safe.... :)
