Today I received Cards in a trade from 49ants that took me up to 24,999 unique Phillies cards.  Only 95,748 to go.

What's the strangest card of a Phillie you have? And which was the toughest to find?

The strangest or I think the coolest cards are the 1911 Mecca Double Folders where you fold the card in 1/2 to make another player. The hardest or maybe the hardest to get at a decent price are the 1952 Topps high numbered. I think I have to get back to procuring more older cards like I did in the past. Most trades on here are for modern cards.

Very impressive! Are you doing a project where you are trying to get at least one card of everyone who's had one for your team? I am trying to do it for three sports which is probably insane, but very fun and rewarding. It seems like it would be perfect for your collection because with that many cards, you have to have most of them already. 

No Billy, I am just trying to finish off a few years of getting every Phillie there is. Maybe someday the 50's through the 90's might happen but some of the early cards are way too expensive and the there are too many of the newer cards.

That's a massive single-team collection. Congrats! Be glad you aren't a Cardinals collector as they have about 145,000 cards listed here right now. I only have about 6,000 of them so far (not counting the dupes). But I am proud to say that I have a least one card of every year from 1957 to 2019 (63 consecutive years), plus a few older ones.
