I do almost all my trades in small lots by putting the cards in a 9 pocket sheet and a PWE. Luckily, I have never had a lost package. I have always felt though that shipping this way vs. say a package with tracking leaves the burdon on me to get my package to the other party. If I were you I would either send their cards back, work out a purchase or find suitable replacement cards if your trade partner is fine with that.

I figure I am fine with that because shipping is much more affordable using the PWE.

I am going through that now. I said please just send me anything you can spare. I felt screwed and shipper did too. Communication is key and.....

What eventually happened was I talked with my trade partner and offered to send my cards back. I was told to keep them but I did make a purchase from him to smooth things out a bit.

The next day, after making the purchase offer, I checked the original tracking number from the initial trade, and surprise, the package was found and on it's way to his home.

So, it all worked out well for both of us.  

Glad it all worked out. I had the same thing happen to me. I sent a package from SC to NJ. it took over 3 weeks to get there. But a package to Canada only took 5 days. The postal system is funny sometimes.
