I'm sure I've seen a thread on this before, but I cannot find it now. What should be done, when trying to add card scans for the database checklists? I have a 1/1 Graded card that I would like to add a scan of to the database checklist. Do I crop the scan to include the entire slab, or do I crop it down to just show the card? Either way, I don't get a crisp sharp image of the card thru the slab. As I said. It's a 1/1, so obviously, we cannot wait for an ungraded card to scan.

Try turning the card 90°, or using different color/tone settings. Lighter or darker may help, you can adjust after the scan.

If I recall from some of the previous discussions, images of slabbed cards should be cropped down to the card edges. 

The issue of getting a good quality scan of it is a different story. Billy Kingsley has some nice scanning tips to make the cards look like they are in hand. (http://cardboardhistory.blogspot.com/p/how-to-make-your-scans-look-like-cards.html)
