I just read that out of over 17 million brackets entered on ESPN, the site we are using, only NINE people aced Round One. Pretty amazing.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Anf further to that , out of those 9 there are 5 different champions selected, so something's gotta give.

Six of them picked Maryland to beat LSU, so now 3 perfectos remain.

So did I. What a heartstopper. But at least I kept my "perfect?" now 0 for 3 in day opening games....Sheesh!

I also had Maryland over LSU and also have missed the first game of the day every day so far. I certainly hope that streak ends today b/c I have Tennesee in the Elite 8. I went 5-3 Saturday. I picked both of the 3/6 games backwards and had Kansas over Auburn. Twelve of my Sweet 16 are still alive with 5 of them winning Saturday and one losing on Friday. I'm surprised that only the first 2 games of the day were close at all. I expect more double-digit-point wins Sunday though.

Had a rather tough time yesterday and my South bracket is in near shambles... Still lots to go but my teams will have to start a run if I'm to climb the ladder here.. Oh well I'd still be watching anyways and can't wait for the Duke / UCF tilt where I will definitely lose 1 of my teams for sure having picked both to get this far.

I had Maryland losing to Belmont. Showed a lot of confidence in my local school. My bracket is busted as I felt bold and picked Wofford to reach the Final Four

The Duke/UCF game was the best one of the tournament so far. Total excitment from beginning to end. As for my bracket, still doing good. I'm 35-13 in my picks and 12 of my Sweet 16 made it there. All of my Elite 8 are still dancing too.

14 out of 16. Two missed weren't picked any further.
In the hunt!
