Just wondering as I was trying to put a fair trade togeher with someone. Is there a way to know how many total cards from your wantlist does each member have on their trade/ for sale lists? It would be cool if that existed. Like I could click on someone's profile and it would show this member has 45 cards from your wantlist and you could click on a link for a breakdown of sports and the numbers. Is this a stupid idea or does it exist somewhere that I can't find?

Its a good question and would be helpful. Would be nice if it just unique card totals and not duplicates also.

I understand how to do that. That's not what I'm saying. Under this method If I match lists with you I have no idea how many cards are in each set that you have that I need? If there are 15 different set matches then i have to click on each one to see how many cards in that set you have.

Joe,
You have to open each set to see how many that member has from your WL. If you are trying to offer a trade with 50-ish, it may look promising when 20 sets are listed but there is only one in each. Frustrating especially for team/player collectors.
In this section on the Collection summary of any given set there should be another line:
Members with cards from this set on your Wantlist, and ideally how many.

Kari I am buying pre-1987 Non Sports. Let's discuss if you have any for sale, even if not listed here. --------------------------------------- There are no bad days.

Joe, I made a suggestion awhile back for Admin to color code the Recent Matches system to do precisely what you're asking. They told me it was a proposal that was being worked on, but I never heard back. Supposedly it was on a thread listing what they were working on, and in one of them it showed my ID by it, meaning it was the proposal I had made. It may be in working stages, or it may have been dropped. I don't know, but I like the idea, too.

There is another way. You can also go to someone's profile page. Under "Links" click "Collection" From there you will see there wants and haves. Say you click on someone's wants list From there, you can then can browse by Sets, Names or Teams. I find it easier to pick Sets. From there if you click on a set you will get a list of all cards on that list for that set. I use this for looking at other wants and what they have for trade. I find it quicker to look over things and all you get is a simple list with no photos. Hope this helps you.

Yes, but Joe's taking a page from my book, "One Click, Voila!"
