Richard, I don't. I was talking with my LCS owner about it and we both just shrugged our shoulders. But, we're old and cling to old ideas sometimes. I just don't get paying for an electronic card. Do you? I'd like to hear from someone who does collect these as maybe I'm missing something - which is entirely possible.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Well those last couple replies made me giggle!
I am not collecting the digital cards, but did have the app on my old phone. I remember opening the free packs you would get was somewhat interesting (The sound effects were really good if I recall). I also remember the baseball card picking game the Topps app had (or maybe still do) was fun to play when passing a few minutes.

I play around with the Bunt and Skate apps, but haven't spent a single cent on them.

Same as Kep. I have had each of the apps at some point in time. None are on my tablet anymore. Never spent a cent and had thousands of "cards". I think that non-users don't realize that they give you thousands of free credits every day you log in, and I'm not sure many of the digital traders realize that real cards even exist.
Smart move by Topps, IMO, in that you get kids who can't afford today's prices interested, and later they might collect cardboard. As far as the ones who spend money though...I have no idea what they are thinking.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Collecting digital cards??? How do you Collect something that is nothing? You posted this question on the wrong day. It should have been asked on the first of April.

Hi guys, your replies made me smile :)
I actually started collecting digitally a few years ago and am now collecting physical cards now since a few months. Trading digitally is easier, especially if you live in Europe as there is no big sports trading card culture here. That being said, I started to like collecting physical cards more and more and definitely spend more money on it. But I thought there would be more here collecting in both ways.
