I took advantage of the free shipping and managed to order some nice cards. Biggest price was on the 1983 topps wade boggs rookie card. I see comc being very addicting. Excited to get the package in the mail.

For the first order I gave myself a 30 limit to see how I like it. Got 53 cards. Boggs was the big need of the bunch. If I like it I'll turn there more than ebay.

I made my second COMC purchase this weekend also. The first was a while back. Finding cards I wanted was quite easy and the pricing for almost all seemed very reasonable priced.
Then I remembered why I probably haven’t used COMC more as I find the checkout/shipping process pretty confusing. Granted much is likely the user! The process seems to be set up that way to lower shipping overall based on what I read on this website and COMC but Im clearly missing how to use the features.
For example, I purchased enough cards (needed 25) for free shipping this weekend. That worked and the cards went into inventory ready to ship with no shipping cost. Then I went back later to purchase a few additional cards but it wanted to charge me the shipping unless I purchased another 25. I already had the last order waiting to be shipped, so I’m clearly not following how the hold for shipping and only pay one shipping cost works (or free shipping with Black Friday works)....

Did you put funds into your COMC account? If you keep a balance there, that is the best way to handle things. I have never had to worry about if this qualifies, or if it doesn't.
I'll request shipment later tonight. I only bought 9 cards (so far) this weekend, but I already had 26 cards sitting there waiting for me. I do believe that I'll get the free shipping because I keep a balance and make my purchases from that.

I have used comc for years, and had a big score last night, a 61 topps high number Hank Aaron All star.
I was looking for a common hit to my list, and scored so much more, nice sale price of 30% off

love COMC, it's a good way to clear out the dust collectors from Upper Deck ePack and a good place to pick up PC cards without having to worry about shipping everytime. All the cards currently listed on my "in transit" list are on my COMC account waiting to be shipped

May want to call them as my understanding is you have to purchase 25 cards during the sale to get the free shipping.

You may want to call and see if they can work it out for you. They did it for me once.

I have a 57 Hank Asron card oon COMC. let me know and we could work a deal.
I have used COMC for years and purchased a lot of low dollar cards. My issue now with them is the cost of commons and the low end cards. Since they went with E-bay a lot of sellers put them at .99 to 1.25 so COMC would not get the extra money if sold on E-bay. Also a few bigger sellers just leave their prices high and left them ride. In hopes someone will buy them.

Yeah I've sent them an email - and I just got an email as I was typing from Comc - and I'm one irate customer!
First off, I spoke to them about what qualifies for the Black Friday free shipping and I was told that only purchases made during the period would qualify. That's fine. BUT when I went Saturday to request shipment on my previously purchased items, just 10 cards, I was met with a yellow banner that said, ": Purchase 15 more items and get FREE shipping!" My first thought was that's NOT what Chris at Comc told me. I should have just gone on and requested shipment and paid my $3.99, but I chose to go after 15 more cards and they were basically stuff I would trade with you guys for, nothing special because I wanted to limit my spending. Well, once I got to the payment portion I noticed a shipping charge, but also knew that they would go into my account and then I'd request shipment, no problem. Or so I thought. The 15 card purchase went straight to PayPal and to be shipped. AND I was billed $3.99 for shipping. The kicker is that now Comc is asking for an additional $3.99 to ship my 10 cards that I had originally planned to have shipped.
I knew better. I KNEW BETTER. But Comc has some responsibility by having their system goad me into buying more. It ain't over yet. I'll keep you posted. I'm more irate after having typed this post!
