Tito Francona passed away last night at age 84.  I'm too young to remember him playing, but I know a lot of people in Cleveland loved him...he'll be missed...

Tito was very good player.  Sad to see him go. Father of Terry Francona.   As a kid growing up in Trenton in the 60s,  my buddies and I would play "curb ball".   Each kid had a favorite team and would use that lineup as you batted.   My buddy was an Indians fan and he loved Tito Francona and Daddy Wags.

I'm only too young to remember him as a player, but I remember his 1985 Topps Father & Son subset card with Terry.  I've also collected most of his cards.
