No hours although work is still open. It's a golf course (somehow calling themselves an essential business). No part-timers have any hours. The salaried managers are working the bulk of the hours with 2 or 3 full-timers for the rest.

teaching my students via zoom from my home in south carolina. semester to end soon.
quarantine has been good time to think about values and essentials.
seems that no one should work more than 10 hours unless they want to. our productive capacity is such that we could provide basics for all. we all need to spend more time with family, walking, playing music, sleeping, trading baseball cards. work is a racket.
thanks for this thread. nice to see all the good things people do.

Golf is essential. :)
But seriously, it is completely safe and courses should remain open.

Stay at home Dad for the past 6 years so not sure what you call me. I was an auto mechanic before that. Being able to set my own schedule has ruined me for going back to a regular job so when the kids get a little older (6 and 4 now) I’ll be doing something entrepreneurial.

Still working, and busier than ever because of the pandemic. Full time resturant, where none of the changes have changed our way of business. Tips have been outrageous too! I don't even deliver.

Still working full-time on-location as a Sanitation Specialist. Three of my 4 accounts are deemed essential businesses (2 dialysis clinics and a sock mill). The only things the stay-at-home orders in NC changed for me are the extra amount of PPE I now have to wear and the fitness center closing until further notice. Most of the people I personally know are still working whether on-location or from home. Oddly, the owner/operator of the company I work for is on hiatus from his full-time job. At least he still has income from this company. Nearly everyone in our company works contracts with companies deemed essential.
And I don't want to ever retire! I would be so completely bored being home all the time. Actually, I'd say the lack of any kind of schedule or structure to each day is what would drive me crazy. Only deterioration of my physical and/or mental health will force me to do so. But who knows how I'll think about it at retirement age in about 25 years.

Still working, by the grace of God. My work is freelance online writing, which thankfully hasn't slowed down since all of this started.
