I miss the days of cards being everywhere and made from any subject.
I remember having everyone in my family saving milk cartons because there were cards on the sides. I'd buy snacks that I didn't even like because they had random cards in them. And Wonder Bread having Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica... that was amazing!
And then you'd find cards for sale everywhere from department stores, to drug stores, to even ice cream shops, and they would have sets from every movie and TV show you could think of.
The closest odd ball glory I've seen in recent years was the 2017 Little Debbie Star Wars Rancho Obi Wan set where the cards were made of collectable items of each character, so instead of a picture of Chewbacca on the card, it was a card with a picture of a Chewbacca mug. That was about as odd an odd ball set as you could get. I probably put on 10 pounds buying more little Debbie snacks than I should have, and I'm not even close to having that set complete.
