Another day, another find. Two large boxes of Box Bottoms.
Questions?:
1. How do you collect these? 2-9 card panels intact?
2. Or Do you cut them into single cards?
3. Any kind of cutting, What do you use scissors, blade, cutter? Any suggestions. Many of these will need to be trimmed anyway. Some bottoms are attached to the boxes folded.
4. I notice there aren't many listed. I guess they should get listed with the set? Insert? Promo? ____?
5. If I start to list and scan, Is there anybody interested in trading "because I have a lot" and with notable stars?

I had a few of these saved over the years. I got a large paper cutter (the one with the tiny blade that you slide back and forth) and cut on (or very close to) the folds on the bottom. So it keeps it in panel form.
I'm VERY interested to see which ones we don't have listed. They would be listed as inserts and are almost always (or should be) called "Box Bottoms". I thought we had most (if not all) already listed.
Can't wait to see what you have.

I always have them on my want list, and actually have a couple. Cnangle explained what they were and traded me the first ones I ever owned.

I have quite a few box bottoms intact. I've used a utility knife and straight edge to cut a few into singles for my team collections and to trade. I've even given some singles away to a certain Phillies fan.
We have numerous listed, both as singles and complete panels.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I was given a cutting instrument shaped like a mouse and it cuts as straight as you can guide it. It has a ruler to help you maintain the distance chosen. It's a so much better than using free moving instruments.

That's all fine and good, but if I remember contributors by their avatar, how am I supposed to recognize this new person now?

I actually have a cutter like this. I didn't think it would be strong enough. I'll have to give it a test run. Thanx.

Those box bottoms that are listed, are mostly listed as singles. Suppose I would like to just trim [clean up edges] and leave them as panels, Is there anyway to record them as 2,4,9 etc intact panels? Could I scan the whole panel and add as such? Help please. ~BOB~
