I do want borders to come back in the following year, but I do not mind borderless as something diffferent..

I really like it. My first thought was Bowman, and I see I'm not the only one. And I'm cool with mixing up bordered & borderless in back-to-back years like this. That will make three straight years I like a lot. Can't wait til it gets the Heritage treatment, in 2069.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

I hope they do lots of buybacks. And I hope those buybacks are the sticker-back cards with lots of combinations, and also the 1991 Topps with the nuclear toxic ink that only Spaz can see.

I kinda like it. I'd like it more if the words were horizontal instead of vertical. Overall, it's a nice design that has everything you need on the front of any card: action photo, player name, position, team name, team logo. I'm also curious how they will do the parallels for these. It seems like they will be a minor difference unless the shaded area and Topps logo are solid foils.

I am as big of a fan of the back as I am of the front sometimes. Just keep full stats please and put the card number in the top LEFT of the back so my cards aren't upside down in a shoe box when I arrange them by number. As for the front, it's OK. My thoughts are a lot of what others said. It doesn't stand out to me yet, it looks like a Bowman graphic and parallels will be tricky again with no border.
Wish list for the flagship: bring back team photos for team cards with a manger inset or a manager stand alone card. I wish major award winners (MVP, ROY, MGOY, GG, SS, CY) were in the base set or at least an insert set like they did a couple years ago. League leader cards do not seem complete or consistent. Lastly, do an insert set you've NEVER done before instead of recycling old cards or cards with old stars on them. The Salute and the retro cards and lineage cards are getting stale. Do a set for announcers or how about umpires? That would be different!
