“ I guess this type of card is a way to have people collect the game/contest promotion cards. Never really thought about this sort of thing. ” -captkirk42

“ Good luck finding these around- sometimes, when it comes to certain items, they are too rare for their own good, I'll bet many people seeing this card never knew Topps did this promotion in 1999 and 2000 for baseball and 1999-2001 for football and basketball. ” -Dave Sosidka

Tell me about it. I've been searching for a Matt Mantei for my PC for years and haven't even seen one in the wild, let alone for sale. I'm fearful that the day I do, I'd have to pay big bucks to add it to my collection.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

They really made full use of the space on the back for the writing.
