This set has been on my wantlist for quite a while now. I still don't own any of them! But it's funny that this card shows up as RCOTD now since I've been playing my VHS recordings of The Three Stooges episodes for about a month straight in my bedroom when I go to bed each night. Probably the best comedy trio of all time IMO! At least the ones when Curly was part of the group. Shemp was okay, but they seemed to repeat stories with him replacing Curly. Joe was the worst of the Stooges. He totally didn't fit with Moe and Larry. The "recent" re-hash movie was pretty good, but still nothing like the original group. I did really like Will Sasso as Curly though. I think he was the best choice at the time to play Curly. I have noticed some things recently that I didn't notice before as I actually pay attention to the credits of the original episodes now. Christine McIntyre was in a BUNCH of episodes. But the real surprise was that a very young Lucille Ball was in one of the episodes. I never realized that "Lucy" was in an episode of The Three Stooges!

Back to the actual card: I love it and I want it. I want every card in the set!

I may make this my next vintage non-sport set after the 1962 Topps Civil War News. These are pretty affordable raw for being 60+ years old and such a popular trio - there's a few lots of three on eBay right now for less than $10. If you want to go the graded route, you'll be coughing up a little lot more though.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Ah, just a sweet reminder of Sat/Sun morning (80s/90s) during the baseball seasons. Channel 38 playing episodes of the Stooges and then right into the Red Sox game for that day, especially when it was a home game. I'll get to this set some day.

Was thinking the same as jimetal7212. My Saturday & Sunday mornings in the late 60's early 70's. Cartoons and Stooges. Whoo whoo whoo whoo.

I've DEFINITELY got to get some of these one day! Love old comedy. Marx Brothers, Laurel and Hardy, and Harold Lloyd are also among my favourites.
