I like the 1993-94 design of Parkhurst. This was the first Parkhurst set produced by Upper Deck.

Looks like Janssens has just dumped the puck into the offensive zone, and now he's going to chase it. Emerald ice parallels were pretty tough to pull back then. It was always fun to find one.

Pretty awesome!  I remember finding boxes of this at my local Value City.  Super cheap too!  Bought so much I ended up completing the entire 540 card Emerald Ice set.  And I still have it!

They did become harder to get in the subsequent years.  But 1993-94 had at least 2 per jumbo pack.

A good design all round. It's a shame that many of the sets since then haven't been as good.

Oh my, I remember that set, it was so hot when it came out. I believe I have a near complete set of those stored somewhere. Thanks for bringing back those memories :-)

I liked the early to late 90s Parkhurst cards.  I really liked the emerald set for the 92-93 series but gotta say I'm not a fan of this set's emerald series.  I just find the shade of green used to be... off.
