I am sure you are referring to your submission of the 1991 Donruss Mark McGwire #56 (INC. var) [1] that was "sold" for $123 [2]. I was one of many people who denied the price submission.
A couple of flags:
- The buyer has 0 feedback, indicating they are a new account that does not have any previous transactions (sales/purchases). Therefore, they are likely shilling/trolling/etc. the buyer who has listed a junk wax era card for a great price. eBay will still mark this as a "sold/completed" item, even if the buyer does not pay (eBay please change this!).
- The seller is almost a five-year-old account, but no sales, only purchases for which they have gained feedback
- The price for such a card is outrageous, look at any other active or sold listings... $0.50, $0.99, $1.25, etc.
- The fact that the "sold" pages says the seller has "relisted this item or one like this", typically indicates they have relisted to same item.
- The card has been relisted multiple times with the same price and even higher, no listing has received a bid [3,4,5].
- Card is still active [6]
