It usually says no trades in common on the wantlist or something
But thought I would ask more info on the topic.
Sometimes it shows others have cards to trade but doesn't seem to be much I can do if there is no other matches that I have on their trade list

If you go to their profile page you can go into Collections and then look at just the For Sale/Trade or Wantlist and browse manually.

What I do if there are no matches for someone who has something I want to trade for is to ask them to look at my tradelist.

I sent you a proposal with how to do it. You will have to decline after you follow the instructions I gave you.

You would need to add the things you want to your wantlist and then it will match when you set up a trade, or do what deadhead suggested and see if they are interested.

When do you or how do you add the address in? I suppose it should come in after the person accepts the trade.. Would you just email where to mail it to?

Once both parties accept, the addresses will show up.

But before that you need to add your address to the address section when updating your profile.

There is one option you can do if you are targeting a specific card(s). When on that's card's listing you'll see and option for # mentions in collections under the scans. # = the number of cards listed in the DB as in a Collection, Wantlist or as FS/T. You can see who has it listed as FS/T, click on that member and you can then do the regular tradining activities like FS/T and Wantlist match-ups and trade proposals. There have been a few times where I was targeting a card or two to finish a set and used this method to get a trade done.
