By definition, a set collector is "someone who values the common card, ALL common cards". I have over 130,000 cards available for trade. They are stored in about fifty 3,200ct monster boxes. Cards are stored by sport, year, brand, and then card #. What I try to avoid is pulling a one card each from two dozen boxes. It takes forever to do this as I'm going into dozens of boxes (don't get me wrong. I will do this for the right trade, it's just a pain). 90% of the trade offers I get are from people working on their "team" and "player" collections. I'm offered 20 cards from a single set but I have to go into a dozen boxes to pull their cards. The trade "wizard" makes it so easy to put cards into a proposal (which is nice), but often little thought is give to what's involved in pulling the cards on the other end. In my mind, the perfect trade is exchanging 20 cards from one set for 20 cards of another set. But this never happens which I've come to understand. I love the website and have met some great traders. But the most shocking thing I've discovered is how few people collect cards the way I do. I wasn't expecting that. The purpose of this thread was to just to see if there were any other folks out there like me that I hadn't traded with yet. Forgive the rant. Keep the offers coming. Thanks, Craig
