Correct me if I'm wrong, but 70 dollars seems pretty high for this set.

So the price is based on that sportlots sells the individual cards for .18¢ each ($81 for all). I have them listed here for about 15.5¢ each. That being said I am just getting back in to the trading card game so, is the price too high?....possibly....but that's where the OBO comes in to play. 

The sum of each card will always exceed a set's price in my opinion. I'd check what that particular set has sold for on other sites such as Ebay. And certainly don't use the prices shown on our site here as they're unreliable and in some (most?) cases inaccurate or with some traders/buyers irrelevent. 

I understand. I have come to discover that the prices on here are mostly unreliable thanks to another member who told me about sportlots. I have searched eBay for this collection but have not found a set that has been sold. 

I looked earlier, and there is one listed on ebay for $99, plus a lot more for shipping, however, it has not sold.

I am not familiar with this particular set to know if either one of these prices are reasonable, excessive, or a steal.

Just to note, to the seller - SportLots has a minimum price of 18 cents per card. COMC has a different minimum. There are other outlets that sell commons at lower prices. Using one source as a guide can send you down the wrong path. It might not, but it can. Just be careful using that method. If this same theory is applied to the 1987 Topps set, $139 would be a reasonable price for it. Meanwhile, you'd be hard-pressed to get $13.90 for it.

In any case, I wish you the best in selling this for the most you can get.

I may have been the one to steer you to sportlots per a trade you sent me requesting an overload on your side, maybe even for cards in this same set.

There wa a '96 set that was auctioned off at $38.00 + $15.00 shipping and a '94 set for $1.00 + $8.00 shipping. It all depends on who's in the set and who wants it.
