Year: 1967

Set: Philadelphia (Rate)

Card: #106 Fran Tarkenton

“ TIL - today I learned - that Fran Tarkenton did not spend his whole career with the Vikings. I saw this card, and said to myself: Fran on Philadelphia? so I looked it up, and there were 4 mid career years with the Giants. Then I looked closer, and saw that Philadelphia is the set name.  The Philadelphia cards throw off some people unfamiliar with the 60s.     I have them on ebay and always laugh when I list a Cowboys card  as  "1966 Philadelphia Cowboys.....".
