I played the game once back in the mid-1990s with a co-worker who was very much into the game. I won our game, but really had very little interest in playing again (although, honestly, if the guy wanted to, I would have played again, it wasn't a bad game). It didn't spark my interest enough to want to collect them at all. As far as the game itself, it's a decent mix of luck and planning. You know ahead of time what's in your deck that you can play, you just have to hope that it will come up soon and plan for it. If it doesn't, you have to be flexible enough with what you do have to keep things going. Amazing I still remember any of it 20+ years later.

Never played or understood the reason to play.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

I played heavily, starting when revised came out. My friends and I played heavily from 1994 until about 1999 when we all finished high school and went our separate ways. I played maybe a handful of games in University, then stuck the cards away until getting back into collecting a few years ago.

There have been a lot of changes with the cards and rules as they come out with new abilities or tweaks.

Now, specific to the card - these were annoying to get when opening packs because they were so rarely used (there was a ward for each colour - red, blue, green, black, white) and seemed to be one in every pack.

The only good thing I can say about this card is that I am alive and able to read it.
