1998-99 UD3 holds a unique position in basketball cards. As far as I know, it is the only set that had a promo issued but the set itself was not. During the first lockout, that shortened the 1998-99 season to 50 games, the card hobby changed dramatically (and, in my opinion, not for the better) as most Series IIs were cancelled, as well as some planned late season sets. UD3, in what would have been it's third year, was one of those sets. Years later, in the early 2000s, I came across this card, I no longer remember where. I knew I didn't have it and acquired it. Then I read the back of it and realized what it was I had. I've never seen another and some people have even gone so far to say I was lying about it in the past; this was before I had a scanner years ago, as I got my first scanner in October 2005. Now I have finally located it and scanned it, adding it to the Database for all to see.
