After 1997 SP[s superlative set the 1998 SP set was a real letdown. There really is nothing that stands out about this set. In fact it[s only redeeming feature is the presence of some very nice (but also very hard to get) insert sets.
Pricing is by the 2018 Beckett racing guide but it should be noted that in reality most cards can be bought for a fraction of book value.This is especially true with the die cut Behind the wheel inserts which are usually seen at 50%-60% of book. Some even lower.The autograph sets however have maintained price however it should be noted that insert sets like Traditions and Mark of a Legend are only rarely seen on the market.
