This set is condition sensitive as the black border lends to easy corner and surface damage that shows up very easily. Gloss only on the fronts also can lead to different types of anomalies on the backs of these cards as they have no gloss. The bio’s on back are very in depth and factual and help make up for some lack in design. Some photos are less attractive than others and that’s an opinion but based on mostly the fact that they are reprints and lack any current photo quality compared to todays cards even as they are made in the current era and I suppose this is to be expected. I gave the set a 7.5 overall and it is fun and challenging to collect. | ||
